"How much do peptides cost" has an answer only if the question is made precise, because vendors sell different vial sizes, name different molecules the same thing and publish prices that change weekly. So we fixed a date and a method. On 26 September 2026 we read the public list prices of seven research-peptide vendors directly from their online stores' product feeds, took every single-compound vial for six commonly searched peptides, and converted each to a price per labelled milligram. This page reports what we found. It is a price record, not a recommendation of any vendor or product, and not a statement about what any vial actually contains — this site has not yet tested any of them against its published protocol. Method, in five lines
- Vendors: Ameano Peptides, Behemoth Labz, Biotech Peptides, Modern Aminos, PeptidePros, PureRawz, Swiss Chems — the stores in our list that expose a public product feed. One further store refused the connection; several others publish no machine-readable prices and were not included.
- Compounds: BPC-157, TB-500 (as named by each vendor), GHK-Cu, ipamorelin, tirzepatide, retatrutide, semaglutide, plus pinealon and hCG where listed.
- What counts: single-compound injectable vials only; blends, capsules, sprays, gels and alternative salts listed separately or excluded.
- Price: the list price shown for one vial, in US dollars, before shipping, tax, discount codes or subscription pricing.
- Stock: recorded; out-of-stock listings are marked and kept.

Across those eight listings the price per milligram ran from $4.40 to $14.07 — a 3.2-fold spread — with a median of $9.33. Buying the larger vial lowered the per-milligram price at two vendors and made no difference at the third. Two further listings sell "BPC-157 with arginine salt" or "BPC-157 Arg" ($39.99–$87.26 for 5 mg); arginate is a different salt form with its own identifiers, so it is not averaged in. The price spread is the smaller finding. The larger one is the naming. FDA's 2026 review defines TB-500 as Ac-LKKTETQ, a seven-residue fragment, and treats it as a different substance from thymosin beta-4, a 43-residue protein (our TB-500 side-effects record sets out why that matters). In this survey all seven vendors sell a product named "TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4)", "Thymosin Beta-4 (TB-500)" or "Thymosin Beta-4", and four of them also sell a separate "TB-500 Fragment (17-23)" (two of those without a public price) — so within one store the name "TB-500" is attached to two different products. At Swiss Chems the 10 mg fragment listing cost more than twice the 10 mg "Thymosin Beta-4" listing ($96.95 against $42.36). A 43-residue protein is a considerably longer synthesis than a seven-residue fragment, as our synthesis page describes, so a buyer comparing these listings cannot tell from the name or the price which molecule a vial holds. Only an identity test — mass spectrometry on the vial, reported on a certificate — settles it; how to read one is covered separately.
GHK-Cu and ipamorelin
GHK-Cu, a three-amino-acid copper complex, was the cheapest compound per milligram in the survey: $0.70 to $1.38 per mg for a 50 mg vial across five vendors ($35.00 to $68.95), falling to $0.53–$0.64 for the two 100 mg listings. A 10 mg vial at one vendor cost $2.47 per mg, nearly twice that vendor's 50 mg vial.
Ipamorelin was sold as 2, 5 and 10 mg vials, which is where per-milligram arithmetic earns its place: $4.40 per mg for a 10 mg vial ($44.00) against $8.78 to $14.62 for the 2 and 5 mg listings. A buyer comparing a $17.56 vial with a $44.00 one is comparing 2 mg with 10 mg.
Tirzepatide, and the approved product's own price
Research-labelled GLP-1 peptides were the least visible category. Only one of the seven vendors displayed a price for one: PureRawz listed tirzepatide at $61.33 for 5 mg, $122.66 for 10 mg and $650.59 for 60 mg — $12.27, $12.27 and $10.84 per mg. Retatrutide and semaglutide appeared at two stores with no public price.
The approved product has a public self-pay price too. PharmExec reported on 2025-12-01 that Lilly's self-pay prices for Zepbound single-dose vials were $299 a month at 2.5 mg, $399 at 5 mg and $449 at 7.5 mg and every higher dose. Zepbound is labelled once weekly, so a monthly fill is four vials. Our arithmetic:

From the 10 mg dose upward, the approved product's list price per milligram was at or below the one research-labelled listing — before counting that the approved vial is a sterile, labelled solution made under a licence, while the research vial is a powder of untested content. Lilly's programme has conditions, and prices are Lilly's to change; check them at the source before relying on the figure. The other line items
A peptide's cost is not only the vial. Lyophilised peptides are powders and are reconstituted before use, which puts bacteriostatic water and syringes on the bill; cold-chain shipping is charged by some stores. Discount practice varied more than we expected: one store priced ten-vial kits at exactly ten single vials ($35.16 each, $351.60 for ten), while another advertised 30% off 50 vials and 50% off 100.
What a list price does not show
- Content. A "10 mg" label is the vendor's claim. Nothing in this survey has been assayed; a vial's weight also includes counter-ions (acetate, TFA), so even an honest 10 mg of powder is less than 10 mg of peptide.
- Identity. The TB-500 listings show that a name does not identify a molecule.
- Sterility and endotoxin. No list price reflects them.
- Durability. Prices on these stores change often; this table is dated 2026-09-26 and will be re-read, not assumed.
That gap — between a price per labelled milligram and a price per verified milligram — is what this site's 14-point testing protocol is designed to close; until orders report, the figures above are list prices and nothing more.
