In the only published human trials, injection-site reactions, headache, flushing and diarrhoea were common and dose-related. A phase 2 trial stopped in 2006 after a participant died of a heart attack. Every human record is of the DAC form; the form most clinics sell has none.

HGH (somatropin) is growth hormone itself, on current US labels for children's growth disorders and adult growth hormone deficiency, with body-composition results in placebo-controlled adult trials. Sermorelin is a 29-amino-acid signal that makes the pituitary release its own; its only US label, GEREF, is discontinued, and its adult trials found no change in weight or DEXA fat. Federal law makes distributing HGH for unapproved uses a felony; sermorelin is a different molecule.

Peptides and Testosterone: Which Peptides Change It, in Which Direction, and by How Much
The peptides with the largest, best-measured effect on testosterone lower it: degarelix took 96% of men to castration levels by day 3 in its label trial, and leuprolide does it within four weeks. On the raising side, hCG is approved for one form of male hypogonadism, and kisspeptin raised testosterone about 15% in a 90-minute infusion study of six men. Growth-hormone peptides were measured for growth hormone, not testosterone.

We read the published NAD+ prices of five clinics and three telehealth providers on 17 October 2026 and converted every clinic price to dollars per milligram. In-clinic shots ran $1.00 to $2.00 a milligram; a 500 mg drip ran $0.80 to $1.00; and none of the at-home plans we read said how many milligrams the monthly price buys.

CJC-1295 Results: Every Human Measurement on Record — Hormone Levels Rose, Body Composition Was Never Reported
CJC-1295's human record is three small studies from 2006–2009 and one stopped trial. Growth hormone rose 2- to 10-fold for six days or more and IGF-1 1.5- to 3-fold for 9 to 11 days after one injection. No published study measured muscle, fat or weight, and the only trial designed to measure fat was terminated in 2006 without results.

AOD-9604 Results: What the Developer's Own Weight-Loss Trials Showed, and Why the Programme Was Stopped in 2007
AOD-9604 was tested for obesity in six company-funded trials involving 925 people. Its developer told the Australian stock exchange in 2013 that they 'did not show a clinically meaningful weight loss outcome' and that the obesity programme was terminated in February 2007. The 2013 paper that summarised those trials lists two of them as weight-loss efficacy studies and reports no weight result from either.
